Ambroxan is a highly powerful,highly substantive and highly stable ambery note for use in all applications. Ambrofix is the most suitable material for obtaining an authentic ambergris note. Produced from a natural starting material, this chiral product contains one main high impact isomer.
Ambroxan is one of those materials that has more of an effect rather than a characteristic aroma. It is clean, crisp and has a powdery depth that is also reminiscent of tobacco and clean laundry. It is on of the most important notes inCreed Aventus, and also in Dior Sauvage.
This will be sold at a 10% concentration in Ethanol, but can be sold in Organic DPG oil if preferred. Ambroxan is a crystallised solid in its pure form, so therefore has to be diluted with a solvent, any concentration above 10% usually causes it to re crystallise.
